Sixty-five years ago, in 1959, Bob and Mary Jeffery embarked on a remarkable journey that would lay the foundation for Peppermint Ridge. Their vision was simple yet profound: to create a loving and supportive home for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Little did they know that their humble beginnings in Norco, CA, would evolve into a beacon of compassion, empowerment, and community integration.
From a Home to a Haven: Our Evolution
What started as a single home in Norco, housing six boys with multiple disabilities, has grown into a thriving community. Peppermint Ridge has flourished over the years, moving to our current campus with five homes and extending our reach to six off-site homes. Each step of our journey has been guided by a commitment to providing a secure, forever home for our residents.
