In 1976, the parent group “Family and Friends” was formed to help the Ridge and each other through the trials and triumphs of our family members.

As strong supporters of the Ridge, the renamed Friends and Families of Peppermint Ridge (FFPR) takes pride in seeing residents grow and lead fulfilling lives.

A Better Life… At Peppermint Ridge, we have found a place that gives our loved ones a home where they can make new friends and live a happy life. In order to provide such a high level of care, the Ridge spends more than what the government provides. This is where we can help!

Through annual membership dues and fundraisers, FFPR provides supplemental monies for activities, scholarships, and house needs to ensure the Ridgers enjoy happy and healthy lives.

Staff appreciation…In addition, FFPR is the only avenue for families to directly express their appreciation for the hardworking and committed staff of Peppermint Ridge. FFPR regularly sponsors staff luncheons and gifts for staff throughout the year.

Coming together as a group…FFPR also serves as an informal support group for Ridge families, allowing members to connect with one another and share common experiences and resources. Our meetings are bi-monthly on the second Saturday of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 10:00am in Angel Hall followed by a potluck lunch. We also offer a Zoom option for those members who cannot attend in person.

The annual dues are $50 per household (or more if you choose) and may be paid through cash, check, or one of our online payment options (see links below). We hope you will consider joining our group!

As individuals there is only a certain amount that we are able to do, but if we come together as Friends and Families we are stronger.
