Peppermint Ridge Adaptive Recreation Program offers a variety of therapeutic leisure activities for residents with cognitive and physical disabilities. Our activities are created from our residents’ interests. Residents go through a college-like registration process, in which they select the classes they wish to attend. Each class takes residents through a journey that expands their access to opportunities that promote physical fitness, health and wellness, increased self-esteem, and greater functional independence. Our goal is to adapt our activities to reach each individual’s needs.
