Please Remember, it costs about $68,000 a year per resident to provide the quality of life that they need and deserve. The state covers about 90% of those costs; the remaining 10% is derived from contributions, fundraising and investment income.
A contribution in any form or size has an impact.

Peppermint Ridge Family and Friends!
Organized in 1979 as “The Parents Group” we have supported one another in the trials and triumphs of our residents. We also raise funds to support the mission of The Ridge. Later the name was changed to Family and Friends to include not only parents but grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We meet on the second Saturday of February, April, June, August, October and December. Our meetings provide a forum for concerns and compliments. Occasionally we have speakers from The Ridge or elsewhere to inform and educate us. We enjoy a Pot Luck lunch, where everyone brings a favorite dish to share.
The annual membership is $45.00, all of which is used for The Ridgers. We also have a “Turkey” raffle in the fall. Twenty turkeys are raffled and again the money raised goes to The Ridgers.
The biggest Pot Luck of all takes place on July 4th at our annual bar-b-que. The Family and Friends provide salads, beans and side dishes of every kind. The Ridge provides the meat and the buns, etc… The Residents provide the appetites. It is always a great day!
