Welcome
Founded in 1959, Peppermint Ridge is a non-profit organization with
the mission of providing loving homes and empowering support services
for individuals with developmental disabilities, gently guiding
these special people toward greater independence and fuller
community participation.
A broad base
of financial and volunteer support allows The Ridge to offer a wide
variety of residential options and training opportunities for its
clients. As a supportive and loving community which nurtures every
member and encourages each one to become more self-sufficient and
responsible, Peppermint Ridge is more than a place to live - it’s
"Home."

Hey Guess What????
Some companies will give
grants to agencies that are near and dear to the hearts of
employees. Boeing is one of these companies. If you, or a
family member, works or has worked for them, please let us
know so we can investigate the possibility of getting a
grant from Boeing.
If you work for a large company, please see if your company
has a similar program.
Thank you!

Because of the generosity
of many donors Peppermint Ridge was able to exceed the
$100,000 Challenge match given by the Wynn Foundation
before the February 1 deadline…
As
of January 11, 2008 over $160,000
has been received.
Thank you to everyone who
helped Peppermint Ridge meet this Match.
Mr. Bellwood would have
been thrilled!
----------------------------
Good things build on each
other....
At the end of December 2007
at a gathering of family members, Robert Dudley and his
wife Peggy, parents of a Ridger, heard about the need to
open another home to serve adults with disabilities who
are medically fragile. Seeing that the Wynn Foundation
match campaign had prompted people to be very generous,
they decided to issue a challenge to the Ridge Community
to raise $350,000!!!!
If we can raise $350,000 in
the next 4-6 months, The Dudley’s will give Peppermint
Ridge $350,000.
