Welcome
Founded in 1959, Peppermint Ridge is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing loving homes and empowering support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, gently guiding these special people toward greater independence and fuller community participation.

A broad base of financial and volunteer support allows The Ridge to offer a wide variety of residential options and training opportunities for its clients. As a supportive and loving community which nurtures every member and encourages each one to become more self-sufficient and responsible, Peppermint Ridge is more than a place to live - it’s "Home."

For a brochure outlining our services in more detail, please contact us by phone, facsimile or Email.

Great News!

Good things build on each other....

At the end of December 2007 at a gathering of family members, Robert Dudley and his wife Peggy, parents of a Rigger, heard about the need to open additional homes to serve adults with disabilities who are medically fragile.  This project is going to cost about $700,000 to complete. Seeing that the Wynn Foundation match campaign had prompted people to be very generous, they decided to issue a challenge to The Ridge Community.  If we would raise half, they would match it dollar for dollar up to $350,000.

As of May 21st, we have raised $250,000 in gifts and pledges and the first home is in escrow. This progress ensures that more residents who will benefit from a higher level of care can remain at the home they have known for so long.

Hey Guess What????

Some companies will give grants to agencies that are near and dear to the hearts of employees. Boeing is one of these companies. If you, or a family member, works or has worked for them, please let us know so we can investigate the possibility of getting a grant from Boeing.

If you work for a large company, please see if your company has a similar program.

Thank you!
Tracy Mauser,
Director of Development
